OnlyFans' rise has created financial opportunities but also serious consequences for many. Reuters reveals stories of financial devastation, families breaking apart, and troubling behavior linked to the platform. Subscribers have drained family finances, creators unknowingly sold explicit content to relatives, and users have engaged in illegal public acts. Despite OnlyFans' claims of building a "safe" community, these incidents highlight risks for all parties involved—exposing flaws in moderation and revealing the personal toll of its business model.

AI Turns Inventive Sparks into Daily Routine with a Machine-Driven Patent Generator.

A Swiss company, Iprova, is using AI to automate the creative process of invention, mining global patents, research, and technical publications to generate new patentable ideas. The AI software finds connections between unrelated fields, suggesting inventions that human clients can patent. Unlike typical AI, which is known for recognizing patterns, Iprova’s tool aims to drive innovative breakthroughs—turning unexpected combinations of technologies into new opportunities. While AI provides the sparks, human insight ensures these inventions are market-ready.

Should AI decide when to Kill?

Silicon Valley is divided over AI weapons that autonomously decide to kill. While Shield AI co-founder Brandon Tseng opposes fully autonomous weapons, Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey is more open to them, arguing against a "one-size-fits-all" ban. Other defense tech leaders, like Joe Lonsdale, suggest a nuanced approach, warning against rigid policies that might hinder U.S. defenses. The concern remains that rivals like Russia or China could lead the way with autonomous AI weapons, leaving the U.S. in a strategic disadvantage.
