Adobe's Game-Changing Firefly AI Now Live.

Adobe has made its Firefly generative AI models available in its Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Adobe Experience Cloud after a beta period. They've introduced a credit system for usage, with different credit allocations for various subscription types. Firefly will run slower when credits run out, except for premium subscribers who can purchase additional credits. Pricing details are not disclosed yet. The credit system helps manage the resource-intensive service, ensuring fair use. Adobe has trained the models with its Adobe Stock images, making them safe for commercial use, and offers legal indemnification to enterprise users. The credit system enforcement starts on November 1 for eligible Adobe users.

A New LLM 15x more powerful than Metas’s Llama.

The LLM race doesn’t stop. Now Deci introduces DeciLM 6B, an efficient 5.7B parameter LLM with 15x higher throughput than Llama2 7B. Despite having fewer parameters, it achieves comparable performance to the top 7B models across benchmarks. DeciLM is special because it uses less energy and doesn't cost as much money to run as other LLMs. This means it can used DeciLM to build fun new apps and games!
