Meta revolutionizes AI video Creation with EMU

Meta's new generative AI research has led to two breakthroughs: 'Emu Video' and 'Emu Edit.' Emu Video is a streamlined approach for creating high-quality, text-prompted videos through a factorized method, simplifying the process over previous models and producing videos that are preferred for their quality and adherence to prompts.

YouTube to Label AI-Enhanced Videos, preparing for Elections 2024

Just in time for the 2024 elections worldwide, YouTube is mandating labels on AI-generated content to distinguish it from real footage, covering both full videos and Shorts. This measure, aimed at preventing misinformation, will require creators to disclose the use of AI, especially for content that could be mistaken as genuine. Non-compliance could lead to video removal and suspension from monetization programs. Additionally, YouTube will allow music labels to request the removal of AI-generated music that replicates an artist's voice, although they released an app that allows the cloning of singers, but with their permission. 2024 will be a crazy year, but at least these are positive steps in an attempt to separate real from fake.
